
Megan Pitt, LMHC-D
Megan E. Pitt has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. Megan has experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life adjustments. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and validating therapeutic environment while helping clients work toward meaningful and lasting change. Her clinical approach draws from person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Megan has a special passion for working with families who have a member with a disability. Megan brings personal and professional insight to supporting families as they cope with the emotional and practical challenges that may arise. Megan runs the New Parent Program for the National Organization for Albinism and Hyperpigmentation and serves as a facilitator for the Lighthouse Guild Parent Tele-Support Program. In her work as a therapist, Megan believes that individuals are the experts in their own lives, and her role is to walk alongside them, offering guidance and support on their personal journey.
