Becoming a parent is a change and shock in and of itself. When your child has a special need or disability, it can be overwhelming, leaving you with feelings and questions you don’t know how to handle. Megan, as a mother, has both personal and professional experience working with families in learning how to cope with these feelings and life changes. Megan also has knowledge of the OPWDD system, eligibility of services, and the special education system in schools.
Megan has experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, families and the aging population. She focuses on person-centered approach allowing for the individual to work towards self-change at their own pace.
As a mental health therapist, she remembers that people are experts in their own lives: therapists support them on their own journey.
At this time, Megan accepts Univera Health Insurance, United Health Care and private pay.
